567s – Small Sided Football Programme
Successfully managed to retain six County FA administered small sided leagues within the following areas: Newton Abbot, Paignton, Plympton & Manadon. 80 teams playing weekly: Circa 400 players wearing #Devon567 branded Nike kits.

Throughout football and small sided formats, it is a growing concern the abuse a match official receives. On the 27th March we launched a brand new initiative called “No ref, no game” targeting players in our Wednesday small sided league. This is a chance for players to understand the difficulties a referee has to face on a small pitch crowded with 12 players. The speed of the game and positioning of a referee is a challenge and just like players, they are trying their best and wanting to improve! We wanted to give players a chance to referee as well as they play. The feedback from players were positive and we look to implement this once every playing season (7 weeks).
