How do I start a new club?

Once you are confident that you are in a position to proceed, you will need to complete the New Club Request form found here Request of New Club This provides us with the necessary information to create your club on our systems.

 After your club has been set up, your key officials will receive an email containing instructions on how to access the relevant platforms. When logged into the Club Portal, you must first add your team under the Teams section. It is important that the team is created before adding any additional officials. Once the team has been added, you can then assign other officials such as coaches, managers, and welfare officers.

Please note that all officials must hold the appropriate qualifications and complete any required courses before they can be assigned to their role. If an official is not compliant, the system will prevent them from being added in that capacity. All required courses are available via England Football Learning | Home 

Once all courses have been completed and officials have been successfully added to the Club Portal, you can begin the affiliation process. This is completed within the Teams section of the Club Portal. Affiliation is the process by which a club formally registers with its County FA, enabling participation in affiliated leagues and competitions. During this process, clubs must provide details relating to the club, its teams, and its officials. Affiliation is an annual requirement and ensures clubs operate in line with FA regulations, promoting both fair play and safety standards.
