Penalty points process:
Penalty Point Threshold | |
25 pts | Warning letter sent to club secretary with a breakdown of penalty points. Club must attend a CFA workshop along with the discipline committee. Aimed at club committee members. |
50 pts | £75 fine issued by discipline (SIM). Club to be visited by the CFA. Action plan provided to help correct behaviour. Aimed at captains & managers. |
75 pts | Discussed with RDO, CFA staff and club. One match suspension. Send a member of the Devon FA to partake in an unannounced visit to clubs with points to get an independent assessment of teams.

100 pts | An FA charge, plus further sanctions if found proven. Ultimately, ongoing accumulation of penalty points can lead to the suspension or removal of England Football Accreditation and/or affiliation. |
